Manuel: Members of each team
will take turns as cook, and I asked our onboard cook to
show the entire group the basics on how to cook rice, beans
and even spaghetti for so many people in the forest. Sounds
easy but it isn't... this here is Brazil and we will cook
the Brazilian way. Also do not forget that we have lots
of nationalities involved, people will become real Brazilian
chefs after this trip! more

Márcio: There are many
beautiful things all the day. The sky was full of stars yesterday
during my night watch, the forest along the river during the day,
and the fireworks of lightning at night. Of course there are more
piuns (those damn mosquitos) each day, always itching! But that's
life in the Amazon.more
