We cannot continue on the Zumbi, so the teams went up the
river with the bodeiras (small aluminium boats) today.

We put the last sign at postion S 6 29.230, W 66 49.386, at the
Igarape Branco (five kilometres ahead of Position 12). After that
is not possible to continue by river so we will need to walk.
We still have 45 km to Position 11 through a difficult area, walking
no more than 10 km a day by Deni estimations.
In January it will be possible to access the area by river so
we may consider leaving this point for later. We put 19 signs
in total on the Canaca river and that was the initial plan. We
will wait for the final decision before making plans for tomorrow.
We have also run out of signs and are waiting for more.
Everybody is OK.
We just received the news from New York. From the middle of the
jungle it is difficult to imagine this amount of craziness.
