Demarcation Diaries

Cutuvi and Cuama left this morning. They didn't say so much,
they just packed their things early and went, through the jungle,
walking, to Cidade Zina (Cidade Zina is very far away...)?
They told Zigirivi that they were missing home, but Zigirivi
knocked his head. Not a good excuse.
Cutuvi was sick yesterday, not very sick, just stomach pain,
probably because the food. But Cuama, the chaman as well as Cutuvis'
father, said that it must be a spell that somebody put on him
(this seems to be the usual explanation for all kind of sickness).
I gave him some pills and he said he was better, but this morning
they left, through the jungle.Maybe they were right about the
spell, but I am still thinking it was the oily food...
It has been raining all day and we spent it inside the boat playing
cards - canasta (my grandmother use to play that a lot).
We finally found an alarm clock so we hope we will be on time
for the radio contacts from now on.
Still waiting for the helicopter.
