Demarcation Diaries
23 September 2001
The helicopter has finally arrived. We got our fridge, potatos and our demarcation
plates, so the Deni can continue with the job.
Tomorrow we will go up to the Igarape Coxudua to
the points MCO9, 10 and 11. It will take us about one day up
the river because even if it's a small distance, the Igarape is full of
timber and is dificult to move.
Then the plan is to camp at the point MCO9
and then continue the demarcation by foot. We will try to keep on sending
the updates but we canot promise anything because we dont have solar
panels like the other teams.
