Márcio

I am Márcio from Brazil. I'm 28 years old, and live (or at least used to live) in Rio de Janeiro. I'm a physician, an infectious disease specialist, and until now I've been working only at hospitals in my city.

Driven by the desire to change my way of life, I managed to be part of this expedition, working with Greenpeace for the first time. So far it's been great! I work with idealism, trying to do something for a better world, helping the ones who are overrun by economic and political interests, whether they are humans, animals or trees. In the end we are all one, just nature, interconnected lives, and as one we should achieve a higher level.

Of course working with people from all over the world makes it much more fun! But I do really miss my loved ones, hope to see ya soon! In the meantime, I think about what we are doing to the Amazon (this sentence can have many interpretations, so think about it!).
