Captain Arne Sorensen is Danish and is a Master Mariner. He came to work for Greenpeace in 1988 out of the Danish merchant navy because as he says "someone's got to". His first Greenpeace campaign took him to Antarctica and since then has worked on many campaigns including whaling, fishing, climate and the Amazon. His special interest is the Polar regions. |
