  Kimberly became involved with Greenpeace as a canvasser in Massachusetts in 1994. She began developing her action skills as a climber and boat driver at that time, and conducted her first direct action in 1995 in New York. Since then, she has participated in actions for Greenpeace on issues including climate change, PVC toys, toxics, nuclear power, and genetically modified organisms. Kimberly is also a climb trainer for the Ruckus Society and is involved in Citizens Awareness Network, which works to shut down nuclear reactors in the northeast.
