Greenpeace's base camp, next to the Arrow glacier at approximately
5000m altitude, Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania.
Only 15 years ago it would have been impossible to set up camp here
– it would be under 1 metre of ice. According to our mountain guide,
Wilson, Arrow glacier has retreated by about 5-6 metres in the last
10 years.
