InterFor -- Repeat Offenders

Greenpeace and the Forest Action Network released a report on the failure to comply with provincial legislation, including the Forest Practices Code, of one of the greatest destroyers of B.C. rainforest. "Repeat Offender, A Record of InterFor's Offences in B.C.'s Rainforests" in advance of the company's annual general meeting. The report contains information obtained through Freedom of Information and details the consistent non-compliance with basic environmental safeguards that were promised by the Government under the Forest Practices Code. The report lists 474 incidents of non-compliance, but did not include infractions on the Federal level.
