26kb Jpeg Ken Wiwa, son of the jailed writer is in Auckland where he is
lobbying the Commonwealth Heads of Government said: "There is a
horrible inevitability about all this. We have warned politicians
here and we can only trust that when they advocate patience they
are fully aware of the seriousness of the situation".
Olisa Agbakoba, a lawyer who was part of Ken Saro Wiwa's defence
team at the tribunal, also in Auckland said: "What is needed now
is urgent, strong action against Nigeria. The Mandela quiet
approach just will not work".
