I am from Aotearoa New Zealand where
I work for Greenpeace as web manager. You can check
out our website here.
Other than a short trip on the SV Rainbow
Warrior around the coast of New Zealand this is my first
trip on a Greenpeace ship, or any other ship for that
matter.
My role is to keep the website updated
with news from the Esperanza during the WSSD tour. I
have a laptop with all the necessary software and we
have a satellite connection to the internet that I use
to FTP the new content and images to the Greenpeace
server for the world to see.
I feel incredibly lucky to be here
working for Greenpeace doing two of the things that
capture my imagination the most - being an activist
and building websites.
