Greenpeace delivers a three headed monster
to preparatory Earth Summit meeting

June 2002, Bali: Greenpeace attempted to deliver a
"Filthy Three" monster to the Earth Summit's last preparatory
meeting in Bali.
The
monster, an ugly three metre three-headed beast made in traditional
Balinese style, represents the three countries that are the main
obstructors in the negotiations for progress in ensuring global
sustainable development - George Bush (USA), John Howard (Australia)
and Jean Cretien (Canada) are the heads of the monster.

action: Write
to United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan to urge him to put
the Earth Summit back on track.
