Wow. I can't believe one of the world's greatest powers is not going to be at Earth Summit. I am sure if we had a leader who cared about the future, we could make a huge difference. It's unfortunate that the U.S. isn't going to be there, and I am sure that many citizens like myself who support Earth Summit would like our government to be there to represent us.

Hi Danielle,

This Bush story stinks. It started with the way he won the election and keeps going. I don't know how much more damage this guy (and his team) are going to do while in power. It was very unfortunate that Al Gore got his election win stolen from these ones. I am sure that it would have been much better for the whole world. And what p***** me up is knowing that he is there to stay...for another few more years. May-be we should start a direct campain targetting this man. Innondate the White house with so many mail from all over the world that he would start having second thoughts.

hey idilio,

i don't think it's possible for G. W. Bush to have second thoughts. in fact, i don't think he's capable of thought at all. if he were, then he'd probably realize that instead of playing golf or getting a tan or whatever the heck his lazy bum is doing right now, he ought to be at the WSSD trying to find a way to save the planet. the heat and the uv rays from the sun out in texas must have fried the last of his brain cells a long, long time ago.

to the team out in joburg, especially danielle "julia roberts" hickie, this may sound trite but all i can say is keep up the good work. it's been interesting reading about what's going on behind the scenes over there.

hope you have a good one tomorrow.

You prob get back a reply from his secutary saying "Mr Bush informs me to tell you that he is doing all he can to help the environment. He also has instructed me to tell you an example.
Example:Cutting down trees to save more trees. This Mr Bush says will prevent forest fires."

Yours scincerly a secretary who replys alomst the same message every day and "mr bush" never reads the letters btw he just burns them to create more pollution.
