Australian GenEthics Network covers consumer rights and the labelling of novel products, the ethics of patenting genes and living organisms, eugenics, civil and human rights, the regulation of genetic engineering and the environmental impacts of new organisms.
Council for Responsible Genetics is a UK nonprofit organization of scientists, public health advocates and others, which promotes a comprehensive public interest agenda for biotechnology. Program areas are genetic discrimination, patenting life forms, and food safety and environmental quality.
The Five Year Freeze Campaign - is calling for a five year freeze on the growing of genetically engineered crops for any commercial purpose, imports of genetically engineered foods and farm crops and patenting of genetic resources for food and farm crops in the UK.
Friends of the Earth Europe provide information on genetic engineering's possible long-term effects on the environment, biodiversity, agriculture, food and socio-economic structures. Updates about developments on the European Union's biotechnology policy and regulations can be found on this site.

The ISB News Report is published on a monthly basis by Information Systems for Biotechnology, which is funded by the USDA (US Department of Agriculture). It provides news on the development, testing and regulatory review of genetically modified plants, animals and microorganisms in the U.S.
