Hello! My name is Flavio, I am from Brazil.
I have been involved with Greenpeace for 7 years. Two on the ships and five in a local group in my town, Florianopolis. Floripa is a small island in the south of Brazil. It's a great place to go to the beach and surf.
This is my fourth trip and my third time on the Arctic Sunrise. This adorable ship has been my second home for the last two years. I love being here, spending time with this crazy crew from all over the world.
I'm an activist and I'm a deckhand.. I love my job, it is special to be a part of this Greenpeace team. I think that I'm doing the right thing in my life and in my spirit, my soul. I'm happy that I can try to do something better for our "Mother Earth".
