Ciao a tutti!

My name is Gianluca, but actually on board the Esperanza, nobody can spell my name correctly! No matter, I'm use to it!

Anyway, as far as I start to move my hands while talking you will notice that I'm coming from Italy! Gorizia, a small town in the north east of the country.

My Job on board?? I'm one of the radio operators, someone say a gigg, but, still I don't get it!!

So, fixing the unfixable, swinging between the masts and tinkering with radios is my job...I'm having a great time on the Esperanza.

Now is coming the serious part...I've joined Greenpeace one year ago because was one of my dreams.. so now it's true and every day I'm more impressed about how everybody here is working hard to reach our goals. At the same time, to see how some people are destroying our environment makes my blood boil, so, I'm sure to play on the right side! And I'm sure that we must say STOP to these Goodfellas!
