How he started with Greenpeace: This ship was in dry dock, and I was working at the shipyard. I met the crew and got to know them. Then I did some research about Greenpeace, and decided to work on the ship.

What he liked about his first action: I came to work on the ship also to be in the actions. The first action was great. My part was to help the guy on the anchor chain. Because Derek, who was on the anchor chain, he had no more energy. We pulled him back into the boat and I climbed up the anchor chain, and put his seat up higher for him - so he could continue. It felt good to do that.

Best thing about the Esperanza: It's everything on the ship. It's the feeling. The shape also, it's strong.
