History with Greenpeace: This is my first job with Greenpeace, and also my first job outside of Russia. It is very nice to work with people from other countries, and I like the travelling - we are always going somewhere.

It is interesting work. Every day anything can happen. Before I worked on a fishing ship. Every day it was the same work - fish, fish, fish.

It is interesting, but part of why I came to work for Greenpeace is the environment. I once lived in the Murmansk region, and saw how the pollution from a factory there was killing the forest around it. That's not right.

Favourite forest: I remember when I was a youth I would go in the summer to a forest I liked. I would lie down under the trees and listen to the wind blow through the leaves.
