History with Greenpeace: I started out as a Greenpeace
activist in '96. After three years of doing different types
of actions as a volunteer, I was able to join Greenpeace
full time. I've been involved with some actions with the
MV Greenpeace and the Beluga. It's my first trip on the
Rainbow Warrior and I'm planning to enjoy every moment of
it.
Favourite Forest or Best Tree Experience: The "forest
moment" that has had the most impression should actually
be categorized under WORST tree experience. In doing some
research for the forest campaign I spent at one time a week
in the same harbor counting logs. Day in and day out I was
surrounded by all of these logs. Feeling more and more depressed
as the week went by I eventually counted and categorized
more than five thousand of them. I'm hoping for a "good
tree" experience very soon.
