History with Greenpeace: I joined the first Rainbow
Warrior when she came to the States in 1981, and stayed
on until she was blown up in Auckland in 1985.
I joined the present Warrior in 1987 for 1 ½ years
rebuilding in Hamburg, and was skipper until 1991 when I
took 2.5 years off for the birth of my first daughter. From
93 until present I have skippered the Arctic Sunrise, Greenpeace
and Rainbow Warrior.
Recent campaigns include South America Toxics Tour in 98
-99 and the Toxics Free Asia Tour in 99-00.
Favourite Forest or Best Tree Experience: British
Columbia on Arctic Sunrise, June to July 1997, and La Palice,
France action on m/v Greenpeace in 2001.
