Rationalising the surreal
By Chris, logistics. 11 March. Are those moments of surreal
beauty in the maelstrom (and life in general, I guess) destroyed
when someone explains them in rational terms? Probably.
At least that's how I felt when Haussy, having read my last
diary entry, took me to one side just before the Meltemi
action and solved once and for all the mystery of Sete's
phantom bugle player.
It's also why I can't bring myself to tell anyone why there
is a life-
sized plastic Gorilla nipple, complete with hair, on the
desk next to this computer. I just couldn't live with myself.
