TOXIC FREE FUTURE

Greenpeace has now completed the "Down to Zero" toxics boat tour to give teeth to the commitments made at OSPAR to phase out all hazardous substances in North West Europe, including the EU, in one generation (i.e. by 2020).

The Down to Zero toxic tour is part of the global "Toxic Free Future" boat tour. This tour started in December 1998 in Latin America (Argentina and Brazil) and toured the OSPAR region in the summer of 1999.
