Amanda Cook Hi, I'm Amanda from Sweden and one of the cooks onboard on this lovely voyage below the latitude 40 south. I have been sailing with Greenpeace for a few years now and I find every trip to be a challenge and a learning experience but oooh so interesting and joyous as well. Since I first joined I have had my head set on doing this trip - to be sailing in such vast and uninhabited area. Cooking can be challenging at times when the ship starts to rock, but the beautiful icebergs, dolphins playing at the bow, great crew mates and the knowledge that we are here to make a difference really makes it worth while - and the prospect of seeing a blue whale makes my mind wobble. <-- Previous      close window      Next -->
