I started with Greenpeace in 1999 staying on board of the German Greenpeace vessel, the Beluga, for six months as engineer. Since then I have been sailing on the Rainbow Warrior. I have been involved in a varity of campaigns: forest, oil rig, GMO Food, No-War...

I found it a pleasure to work with people from all over the world on the same issues. It is good to get together, share what we know and do something with and about it.

For me, it's the first time being involved in the whaling issue. I think it is of utmost urgency to preserve what we have left on this planet. May it be the forests, toxic free enviroment or the fish and mammals in the sea. Without it we are nothing.

Iceland is in its very special way amazing, and the nature is just mighty and breathtaking.It still has lots of the untouched. I want to protest against a unconsidered new aera of whaling around Iceland and everywhere else.
