It was no choice: To stay in NZ and continue to complain about how we as a race are wrecking this planet, or to leave the comfort zone of my home country and at least try to make a difference. I have crewed on Greenpeace ships for a couple of years now, and feel very privileged that I was given the opportunity to do so.

Sorry to disappoint, but I am no "strung out hippy hell bent on anarchy", merely an average person with a respect for this planet who would like to see its resources used only in a sustainable manner and an appreciation for all of its inhabitants adopted, unfortunately to achieve this sometimes you have to use an un-conventional approach.
